Ferragens Negrão is expanding its activities to all regions of the country with quality tools and equipment – including its own brands. With half a century of activity, the company already has 15 distribution centers, four regionalized telesales and a staff of over 2,600 direct and indirect workers.
“We migrated from notebooks to tablets in order to make it easier for our team of 1,400 representatives, so we keep our team in the field up-to-date.”
“We migrated from notebook to tablets in order to make it easier for our team of 1,400 representatives, so we keep our team in the field up-to-date”, explains the company’s IT coordinator, Danilo de Lima Cabral.
By adopting mobile devices, Ferragens Negrão soon needed a way to manage the devices. At first, the company opted for a solution that ended up being considered difficult to use and insufficient.
After that, the partnership with Pulsus began to make the management of smartphones and tablets of Ferragens Negrão easier, faster and more intuitive. “After spending over two years with a tool considered one of the best in the MDM market, there were no satisfactory results, with a great loss of time and quality. I chose to switch and found Pulsus. Today we use MDM on all our 1,300 tablets and representatives and almost 2,000 tablets in every logistics and commercial operation”, explains Danilo.
To help with team productivity, in addition to avoiding the misuse of devices and also maximizing their battery life, Ferragens Negrão takes advantage of app administration features: “Today we use app management to prevent unwanted apps from being used. So we also have fewer problems on tablets and smartphones, besides having a lot of agility to release the apps to teams”, highlights Danilo, as the main benefits of MDM.
The manager also points out that another very valuable resource is the online control of the company’s assets – which should become even more numerous. For the future, Ferragens Negrão seeks to bet more and more on mobility, expanding its park of corporate mobile devices to 2,500 devices. “Without a doubt, the agility and ease we have achieved with the help of Pulsus greatly assists in our project to expand our operations throughout Brazil”, celebrates Danilo.
